In modern conditions of waste disposal is extremely relevant. Issues arising from the disposal of waste material, even in small quantities, are relevant to most countries of the world. In mining, they entail the solution of a whole complex of problems associated with the disposal of waste mining enterprises, rational use of underground waste space, preventing negative effects on the environment (natural and urban). The use of underground waste space makes it possible to utilize the waste of mining enterprises, to assess the economic efficiency of laying the waste space of the mine with mining waste, taking into account the environmental component. At the same time, the environmental effect is estimated as prevented damage caused by the cost of land reclamation. Placement of ore processing wastes in the mined-out area allows to increase the economic efficiency of mining and reduce the negative impact of these processes on the environment. The solution of these problems requires their economic assessment.
