The following article is devoted to ecological education in university training of future geologists. The purpose of our research is a comprehensive study of the concept of ?ecology of education? and the determination of its place in higher education. The object of the study is the methods of teaching students - geologists. The relevance of this study lies in the fact that it responds to the growing interest in the processes of environmental communication and its modeling capabilities. We try to underline the role of ecological culture and education in school and higher education. Moreover, we review realization of these tendencies of development of modern higher education on the example of the Tyumen Industrial University. In order to identify the best educational programs in geology, we tried to analyze the methods of teaching students - geologists abroad. As practice shows, ecological culture becomes one of the important elements of the educational process, since the interaction of man and the environment, respect for natural resources. the formation of ecological education, culture and communication are becoming increasingly high priority. The main idea of the following article is the formation of ecological education, culture and communication, it?s is becoming increasingly high priority in our days.
