We present the results of the of innovative information technologies within the geographic information management of spatially distributed systems to improve natural risk management in Venezuela. We used the basic provisions of the system analysis, as well as the authors developed a method of complexing geo-data and thematic information. In the article we describe the platform in the form of a distributed application proposed for the organization of the structure and integration of not only the volume of geospatial data, but also thematic information, in this case, the catalog of risk assessment, as well as the results of the use of stochastic models to assess natural risks in the regions of Venezuela, in the example of the state of Sucre, which is historically associated with risk of extreme nature events. As a result of researches we established that hydro-meteorological and seismic conditions are the main factors of natural risks for the study area. The technique of modeling and risk assessment of extreme natural phenomena (earthquakes, hurricanes) by using stochastic models for forecasting damage in the economic field is presented. We created tool in the form of a distributed application for geospatial data infrastructure, which is advisable to use for support decision making in problems of natural disaster management and mitigation. The use of the platform allows to improve the quality of preventive and emergency plans in the field of natural risk management, including the planning of measures to mitigate natural disasters.
