To purify wastewaters, milk processing plants use different methods, but the sorption method is the most affordable and effective. Among the various types of adsorbents, natural zeolites that have adsorptive and ion-exchange properties deserve special attention, which makes them attractive for use in agriculture as a soil amendment.
The objective of the work is to develop and implement the algorithm of comprehensive evaluation and simulation of the effectiveness of the combined application of spent zeolite and preparations (agent) based on mycorrhizal fungi associated with plant microorganisms to change the kinetics of growth of agricultural crops. It was found that zeolite-adsorbed components, as well as zeolite itself, are supplementary fertilizer of the soil, so the application of this in agriculture allows solving not only the problem of fertilization, but also receiving non-waste technologies in the processes of wastewater treatment. The process of mycorrhization increases the concentration of the growth hormone in plants, promotes better water supply, increases the availability of nutrients, including those that come from the spent zeolite. It has been proved that the co-application of spent zeolite with the components of wastewater of the dairy industry and mycorrhizal inoculation makes it possible to increase the yield of agricultural crops by about twice. |
