In this article, the idea of a project for the development of navigation information support for open-pit mining operations (NIS OPMO) is considered in the form of a system of high-precision satellite positioning of all open-pit lease mobile and static objects, allowing the determination of their location with an accuracy of centimeters and data transmission of this information to the situation center. Developed by NIS OPMO, it will allow digitalization of mining in quarries and will become the basis for work on the creation of an "intellectual open-pit mine". This will significantly raise the productivity of the technological processes of open mining and significantly increase the safety of mining. The purpose of the project is the development of high-precision positioning system of mining lease objects to determine geodetic coordinates and normal heights using modern satellite navigation technologies in real-time and post-processing modes. The system will allow for combined geomonitoring, control of mining equipment and personnel with high precision.
