Solving problems in the field of traffic control in the face of constantly increasing traffic
and, as a result, an increasing number of random events affecting this traffic - delay points (accident, repairs, temporary overlap of lanes and individual sections) is impossible by the methods used today, since the vast majority of they are of an infrastructural nature and require considerable time for implementation (applying temporary marking, construction of interchanges, etc.). It is necessary to create new intelligent methods, which, unlike those used today, can dynamically influence traffic flows. Most of the problems with the throughput of individual sections of roads can be solved by eliminating the delay points that occur at arbitrary time intervals and in arbitrary places. Currently, in the field of dynamic traffic flow control, approaches and solutions aimed at particular tasks are known: estimating the congestion of sections of the transport network, technical solutions for redirecting traffic flow into lanes, routing methods and algorithms, technical solutions for prompt notification of traffic accidents. The number of such methods is growing every day, however, the differences in them consist in reducing computational complexity or increasing the reliability of the decision. At the same time, already developed methods have sufficient parameters for their direct application. Previously, we developed a road regulation method based on an analysis of the area of influence of the delay point. Methods have been developed that, based on an agreed set of existing methods for identifying the point of occurrence of the delay point, estimating and predicting traffic congestion, make it possible to decide on the redistribution of traffic flows on the road network so that the influence of the delay point on average speed and time of movement along the problematic section minimal. The work considers a prototype of an automated traffic control system using the method of road regulation developed by the authors based on an analysis of the influence of delay points. The logical and physical design was carried out, during which the systemuse case models were built, the activity was determined and the structure of the earned system was formed. |
