Many decades have elapsed since the invention of the steam engine and gradually falls into forgotten. However, the most significant message that has emerged when discovering this facility is the discovery of the railway. In order to make the track and therefore the railway as we know it today, it was necessary to develop methods of construction at the same time, and last but not least, the methods and devices for their reconstruction. One of the most important discoveries in the field of railway construction has undoubtedly belonged to the tamping machine, which gradually replaced the physically demanding work of the people.
This article will deal with work related to the improvement and efficiency of the rail transport route, namely by directing an automatic tamping machine using state-of-the-art geodetical methods. The article approximates the individual phases of the overall racking of the rails to a position strictly given by the project. The position is meant to be properly stored within a valid co-ordinate system in a given State and to maintain the correct altitude ratios and gauge. |
