Poland's membership in the European Union obliges us to implement the rules binding in the Member States and to the preservation of the principles of sustainable development understood as the integration of economic, social and legal activities through the implementation of new technologies for environmental protection. In order to fulfill the obligations arising from the Directive of the European Parliament and the Council 2010/31/UE of May 19, 2010 on the energy performance of buildings, from January 1, 2017, acceptable maximum values of the Primary Energy indicators have changed (EP) for newly built buildings and permissible maximum values of heat transfer coefficients (U) for external building envelopes.
Successive implementation of changes in the requirements regarding the energy performance of buildings is aimed at adapting all participants of the construction market to the applicable legal rules. The purpose of the introduced changes is the implementation of energy systems based on energy from renewable sources. The value of the EP indicator determines the acceptable annual demand for non-renewable primary energy necessary for the operation of the facility. In this study, the verification was carried out of selected renewable energy sources, which will allow to obtain the required primary energy indicator from January 1, 2021 for newly designed production and storage buildings. |
