3D laser scanning digitization delivers digital copies of existing buildings in its natural form and helps architects and industry specialists keep historical monuments in a database and render their restoration very accurate and cost-effective smaller. Also, the digital copy contributes to preserving and protecting the monument, and at the same time it can be passed on to future generations in the most accurate way. Laser Scanning is a new geodetic technique through which can be measured fully automatically land geometry or a structure, without a reflective environment, with high accuracy and high speed. Scanning result is an impressive number of points in space, each characterized by the position coordinates x, y, z and - usually - by the laser beam reflectance value. Point cloud can be represented by projecting all of them on the screen (display), but it creates a chaotic first impression of the image and the user finds it difficult to recognize the structures or forms of cloud points. In the case study was used a terrestrial scanner, Leica SS2 model. Spatial accuracy of the positioning of the points was millimeters.
