Present article contains new data on detailed study of typomorphic features of placer gold of the Krutoy creek (Khatyrkhay ore-placer cluster, Southern Yakutia). Basic typical characteristics of native gold are identified: granulometry, morphology, chemical composition, trace elements, micromineral inclusions and features of inner structure. Used traditional complex of analytical methods of studying placer gold allowed obtaining information about mineral type of primary mineralization and identifying association belonging of primary source. It is assumed that, placer gold is related to primary sources of gold-skarn type (gold-sulfide association).
