The action of touristic development and valorisation of a territory and implicitly of ?ureanu Massif is influenced by the values of morphometric indicators such as hypsometry, gravity or exhibition. Tracking the territorial distribution of their values provides a first overview of the massive in functional aspect, outlining the personality and individuality of neighboring units. The climate and the component elements, influenced by the position of the area studied in Romania, which impose the main temperate and continental climate attributes, are tinted by the major configuration of the relief - mountain step, as well as the detailed configuration, sloping exposure, gradient, shape and orientation of the peaks. In addition to this, the vegetation cover, in particular the forest vegetation, is added. The suitability for the development and capitalization of an area or touristic area depends on the climatic factors acting on the human body: temperature, humidity, winds, precipitation, sunshine duration, atmospheric composition, snow cover, total radiation or special atmospheric phenomena. These factors have a decisive influence on the population distribution and economic activities, such as access to seasonal or off-season sports or access to recreational or leisure activities.
