The article analyzes the thermal and humidity conditions of the ?arnowska Peatland, which is part of a larger complex of raised bogs located in the coastal zone of the Baltic Sea in Poland. The research was carried out on the basis of long-term changes in air temperature, atmospheric precipitation and field evaporation (1951-2015) from the synoptic station in ?eba. The mentioned indicators were used to determine their impact on the formation of seasonal variability of groundwater level on the peat bog. The climatic water balance was calculated in order to determine the surplus and deficit of water in the peat bog, with particular reference to the growing season. The obtained results indicated a systematic increase of air temperature, and its rate in the years 1951-2015 was estimated at 0.24 ° C per 10 years. The warming was accompanied by the increase in the value of potential field evaporation, both in the considered multi-year period as well as in all (except November) months of the year. The highest trend in the growth of evaporation was recorded from April to September. The increase of evaporation in the spring months is particularly unfavorable for the functioning of the bog. It has been noticed that the state of spring retention has a decisive influence on the values of summer lows of groundwater level. However, no statistically significant changes in the course of precipitation were found.
