Approaching the issue of fertilizers with organic substances of the bio stimulants class is a difficult task as the concept is far from complete elucidation and the legislation, research and experimental activities are still incipient as this products category with agricultural use is concerned. Any substance or micro organism applied to plants with the purpose to enhance nutrition efficiency, non biotic stress bearing, and/or crops quality features regardless of their nutrient content can be generally defined as a product with bio stimulant effect upon plants. The paper presents a new range of bio fertilizers with organic substances that contain protein hydrolisates of vegetal origin (a mixture of peptides and free amino-acids) and an algae extract (Ascophyllum nodosum) which contains carbohydrates, organic acids, cytokines, auxins, gibberellins, vitamins, with secondary nutrients (magnesium, sulphur), and trace elements (iron, copper, zinc, manganese) and the results of the agrochemical tests carried out by leaves application on winter wheat, maize, sugar beet, capsicum, egg plants, apples, and vine crops. It was experimentally noticed that these complex bio fertilizing formulas applied on leaves are well assimilated by plants and have a synergic effect of yield and photosynthesis activity increase. Yield gains were obtained ranging from 12.8% for sugar beet and 28.8% for apple in the case of leaves application of fertilizers as well as modifications of the photosynthesis process denoted by assimilation pigments significant increases with 20.5% for vines crop and 31% for sugar beet crop.
