Use of fertilizers and plant protection products for yield increases led to environment pollution. There is intense concern for new materials development with controlled immobilization/ holdup/release role of compounds that get involved in plant nutrition and protection. Multiple beneficial effects of humic substances upon soil ecosystem is the reason that their control and conservation take priority. Part of the research results carried out regarding humic substances (HS) holdup on biodegradable, bio polymeric structures that contain bio cellulose and polyacrylic acid (BC-PAA) with use possibilities in agricultural crops fertilization and environment protection are presented in this paper. Humic substances (HS) were experimentally used obtained by alkaline extraction from coal mass. These structures present fertilizing properties with stimulating growth effects upon plants and of remediation/bio remediation of soils degraded or polluted with organic substances and heavy metals. The obtained humic acids (HA) were characterized by DTG-DTA techniques and FT-IR spectrometry. The holdup degree in dynamic conditions was determined for the extracted humic substances from alkaline solutions with 0.01; 0.02 and 0.04% humic acids concentrations, on bio polymeric structure that contains cellulose.
