Construction using 3D printer technology seems to be not just a passing trend and a growing number construction companies are approaching this new construction methodology. Although construction processes with printers are becoming standardized, it is also true that many other aspects must be considered in the design phase. Better this construction methodology becomes known, more architects and engineers will have to learn how to design these constructions, in the methods of statics, systems, etc. A very important point is the issue of thermal insulation. The designer must be able to ensure that these houses are correctly insulated, respecting all the canons required by the local laws because, like all constructions, this technology is also subject to obtaining the appropriate permits to be built. The research aims to provide an understanding of the correct thermal insulation methods so that the right standards can be ensured that are necessary and already in place for other types of construction.
