The difficult environmental situation in the world is largely a consequence of the huge volume of production and consumption waste and its constant growth. In this regard, the problem of waste placement, neutralization and utilization comes to the fore. One of the most controversial methods that contribute to a significant reduction in the amount of garbage and the production of energy is waste incineration plants. The main argument of opponents of this method of disposal is the assertion about the pollution of the atmosphere by exhaust gases, which are waste from waste incineration plants. Meanwhile, the incineration technology in many cases is currently the only possible (or best) way to solve many technosphere problems. For example, to increase oil recovery from formations, gas and water-gas methods of influencing the formation, as well as pumping heat carriers into it, are widely used. These methods require, in particular, the combustion of hydrocarbon fuel. This paper considers the option of using waste from waste incineration plants (flue gases and heat) as tools in the oil producing industry. To solve this problem, it is necessary to analyze the morphological composition of waste, which in turn contributes to the development of effective strategies for their use. The use of waste incineration to increase oil recovery allows the use of waste from one industry as secondary raw materials for another, while ensuring the saving of primary natural resources (fuel).
