This article deals with a possibility of extraction flotative Ag-concentrate from the waste material, concretely slag arising from processing of silver and copper in the second half of the twentieth century, which is deposited around the city of Kutn? Hora in the Markovi?ky region. A cationic octadecylamin was used as a flotative collector. The aim was to reach maximum metal content of the concentrate as well as maximum yield of Ag into concentrate during a decrease of raw material capacity. An anion active collector, xanthate natrium, was also used for comparison. Out of the performed flotation tests, the best results were reached within the concentrate yield of 16.98% with a further metal content of silver of 126 mg?kg-1 and yield of 38.9 %. Within this case, flotation efficiency was only 24.06% and the multiplier effect was 2.5 in total enrichment. Unfortunately, under these specific conditions flotation experiments did not reach a more significant enrichment of Ag into concentrate.
