In the paper the conception of the system for intelligent monitoring and control of the energy flow in LED lighting point integrated with photovoltaic solar panels and wind microturbines is described. The system implements procedures for measuring electrical and non-electrical parameters (wind speed and direction, atmospheric pressure, temperature, humidity, critical stresses of the structure (strain gauges), wind turbine speed) as well as control algorithms to manage the consumption and storage of energy.
In the hardware layer the system consist of set of subsystems connected with the backbone energetic line . The sink and source functions of particular subsytems are controlled with the embedded main control unit. The main control unit networked with external computational-visualisational unit based on the PC are optimized for work with usage of fuzzy logic software devices. Exchange the data between the main control unit and external unit is based on WIFI network protocol .
The prototype of the object equipped with the system which has been designed and prepared at UWM. This modular construction incorporates mainly: single-chip microcomputer as main control unit, WiFi module as wireless data exchange interface, module of P-MOS-transistor as switch the energy flow path, signal acquisition module to connect sensors for measuring currents and voltages in the system and transducer modules for strain gauges. A LabView application created for the visualization, archiving and analysis of data is working on a PC. Data acquired during measurements are used to modify the control algorithms implemented in the system.
