GREEN MOORING LOCATIONS FOR BOATS

This paper proposes a mooring location for sport and leisure boats - a solution for the green arrangement of the lower Danube seafront in Galati. Boating along the Danube is a tourist itinerary which is included in the visit program for foreign delegations that arrive in the city.
The proposed mooring site is a fixed green construction consisting of a metallic platform that rests on a beamed beam structure, anchored in the bank, which contributes, through its design, to the green arrangement of the lower cliff and at the same time constitutes a shore reinforcement element.
The proposed structure was designed and modeled 3D in Autocad in different forms. It was calculated using finite element software from the point of view of the behavior and response of the supporting structure to the dynamic stresses in the currents and waves. It is composed of modulated elements so that it can be anchored along the length of the lower cliff in different locations.
This study is intended to be the starting point for discussions and further studies leading to the exploitation of the full touristic potential of the area, and will provide grounds for the city of Galati to enter the international tourist circuit as a mooring place in the program cruises on the Danube.
