The paper deals with developing of an innovation of the device called "Device for sensing mechanical-physical and optical properties of bulk solids" used for examination and localization of life-threatening places. The device has been created of a standard device using an education model-the ideas of a student in cooperation with a teacher mutual sharing knowledge and experiences and enriching each other. The device has been patented and published in Espacenet database under European Patent Office and represents a huge potential for the implementation results of applied characters in relation to the highest level of innovations. These innovations are indispensable for the country?s competitiveness and therefore significantly supported by the EU member states within the framework of grant titles both for R&D organisations of respective countries as well as for companies in order to support smooth technology transfers
