It is generally accepted that organic agriculture as a production system is aimed at the health of soils, ecosystems and people. Such land use and management combines experience, innovation and science to improve the environment, ensure a high standard of living and achieve the goal of sustainable development. It should be recognized that there are different approaches to the future of organic farming among scientists and practitioners. Some experts say that in modern economic and demographic conditions, organic agriculture is not able to solve the world's food problem. However, organic farming adherents tend to believe that the increasing role of using organic agricultural production technologies will allow people to build a full life based on the principles of a green economy and in harmony with nature. The scientific article is devoted to determining the role of organic farming as one of the key factors in the formation of green life in Russia, using, in particular, methods of smart land management.
