Sustainable agriculture allows to solve many problems related to the development of rural areas - first of all, food security, economic well-being of agricultural entities, the formation of industrial and social infrastructure, the preservation of rural traditions and peasant way of life, and much more. The environmental aspect of sustainable development is particularly important, as further population growth is directly linked to increased exploitation of land and natural resources. According to the FAO, agricultural needs have a huge impact on global ecosystems, which account for approximately 40% of land use and 85% of water consumption. Often, due to incorrect agricultural policies, there is a negative impact of economic activities on the environment, which, in particular, leads to degradation and contamination of soils, deterioration of the natural habitat, destruction of some elements of ecosystems, and more. Many countries of the world, including Russia, are making the transition to a Green Economy Policy in order to implement the goals of sustainable agricultural development. All these circumstances determine the relevance of the research topic, its purpose and objectives, as well as the practical significance of the research work.
