At European and national level there is Directive 2013/29/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 12 June 2013 on the harmonisation of the legislation of the member states relating to the making available on the market of pyrotechnic articles and Decision 1102 of 10 December 2014 issued by the Government of Romania for the national regulation of the placing on the market of these products.
The specific quality system of the Explosive Materials and Pyrotechnic Articles Laboratory of INCD INSEMEX Petro?ani includes in its field of competence the test procedure PI 98, accredited by RENAR, intended for the verification of the functioning of pyrotechnic articles on the basis of the applicable references, and its specialised section on pyrotechnic articles intended for vehicles documents the following aspects: test methods (thermal/mechanical conditioning), indoor/outdoor test environment, drawing and documentation verification, drop test, vibration and temperature test, thermal cycle and humidity test, fire test, initiation test, function test; measurement and test equipment; calculation expression and evaluation of results; issuance of test report.
The results of the experimental tests are highlighted in the paper, which were obtained using the specialized state-of-the-art equipment designed for the determination of the triaxial vibration parameter with programmable cycles type TS 20LS3-340, in order to determine the mechanical strength (resonance frequency, vibration test, shock test) on products from the automotive industry (automotive refrigerant air conditioning systems, automotive radiator cooling system VanHool Bus, automotive pyrotechnic actuator classified in the category P1.
