Risks are present in all economic and industrial activities that manifest themselves both through economic losses, malfunctions of installations and equipment, as well as the occurrence of minor or major accidents with particularly serious consequences resulting in deaths and injuries, pollution of the environment. The assessment of risk levels stimulates the co-interest of economic operators to improve their working and environmental conditions, respectively to take measures to move from high risk levels to lower, acceptable levels.
Now that fossil fuels cause damage to the environment, we must innovate, develop and implement new products and equipment that meet current requirements. Hydrogen is the fuel of the future, hydrogen is considered an important vector in reducing carbon emissions, with a critical role in the energy transition towards "net zero emissions".
Given the decarbonisation targets in the transport sector, hydrogen will play a direct fuel role in road, public, rail and freight transport.
The HYDROGEN filling stations are presented in the form of fully integrated modules whose purpose is to supply vehicles, and their handling presents a series of risks generated by the operator or construction risks.
The paper highlights the results of analyzing the risks generated when handling hydrogen fueling stations for green mobility.
