NUMERICAL CALCULATION ASSESSMENT OF THE PARAMETERS OF ANCHORED SUPPORTS USED FOR THE CONSOLIDATION OR ROCKS SURROUNDING UNDERGROUND EXCAVATIONS
Abstract
The present step brings forward a series of calculation methods for the parameters of the anchored support, their number being therefore the expression of the difficulty when describing the phenomena which occur during the interactive cooperation between the anchors and the surrounding rock. The methods used the most by European mining are the analytical methods (the Bieniawski method, the self-supporting beam method and the method of the interaction between the massive rock пїЅ anchor пїЅ time) and the numerical methods such as the finite elements method and the discrete elements method. Namely because it is considered that the analytical methods are based on an idealisation of the existent geo-mining conditions, the specialists in this field recur to using numerical calculation methods for the calculation of rock stability, both surrounding the important investments in mine works, as well as at their intersection with the long walls considering preparatory works. One such method used to forecast the installation parameters of the anchored support is brought forward by the present paper.
