Abstract

Nowadays, according to the current century, the one of speed and information, the way of calculating the volumes of aggregates is desired to be much faster and more accurate in every aspect. The volume designates the property of a body to have three-dimensionality, that is development along three perpendicular axes on which the length, width and height are measured. All three those dimensions are actually length values that define the place which that object occupies in space. The theme of the project is to calculate the aggregate volumes of some building materials over a period of time. The main goal was to monitor the aggregates monthly and to produce a report of the period between 01.11.2017-01.12.2017, which checks the quantity of aggregates that has been used and the quantity of raw material that has been added. Therefore, the topo-geodetic measurements were made in the designated time period, with the total station Leica TC 407 total station and the processing of the data from the measurements and the calculation of the volumes was done with the TOPOLT programme. The measurement equipment was chosen to meet the required precision and be compatible with the exported data of the TOPOLT processing programme.
