Abstract

The Committee on Affairs of construction and housing and communal services of the Ministry of national economy of Kazakhstan approved the "Scheme of water supply and sanitation Kyzylorda", which is represented by the following decisions in choosing a water supply source. So, according to the first embodiment of the solution, the scheme drinking water supply was provided from two groundwater sources: Kyzylorda and Ky-zylzharminsky fields located on the right Bank of the city. Supply and return water was provided through inverted siphons (aqueduct) пїЅ crossing over the river Syrdarya. How-ever, on the initiative of LLP "Institute of hydrogeology and Geoecology" at the end of 2015, this decision was revised and the proposed use Torangelysai deposits of under-ground waters, located on the left Bank city of Kyzylorda. This circumstance was de-termined by the economic feasibility of the proposed option: the reduction of logistical costs due to the reduction of exploration and deep water wells (up to 100m), good groundwater quality and sufficient quantities of groundwater, the minimum distance from the consumer (10 - 12 km).
