The researches were made in thefollowing forest basins: Dobriceni, Jgheaburi ?i Popesti. These forests extend over an area: 701.55 ha. The soil types that develop forest vegetation are: 01 Litosoil (LS) - Skeletal 0104, 32 districambosoil (DC)- and Luvosoil (LV). The following forest habitats types have been noticed in the studied area: 91V0 Dacian Beech forests (Symphyto-Fagion), CLAS. PAL.: 41.1D2; 9110 Luzulo-Fagetum beech forests, CLAS. PAL.: 41.11; 9130 Asperulo-Fagetum beech forests, CLAS. PAL.: 41.13; 91E0* Alluvial forests with Alnus glutinosa and Fraxinus excelsior (Alno-Padion, Alnion incanae, Salicion albae), CLAS. PAL.: 44.3, 44.2 ?i 44.13; 9170 Galio-Carpinetum oak hornbeam forests, CLAS. PAL.: 41.261, 41.262.
