Abstract

The paper deals with the concept of Global Pollution Index – GPI – and the algorithm developed in order to compute the GPI so this become a versatile tool for assessing the environmental evolution during the reclamation process of a damaged area. GPI is also a proper comparing tool between the environmental qualities from various areas. An apply example of GPI conclude the paper.
