Abstract

Coal mining trucks is failure in accordance with many reasons. As, the size and complexity of trucks conti nue to increase, the equipment failures become ever more important. In this study, maintenance and re pair durations for coal mining trucks are examined by using factor analysis and The Kolmogorov-Smirnov test for two independent samples techniques. These techniques are applied to dataset obtained by six different trucks working in coal mining. As the result of these methods, it was determined that there are two different gr oups are composed according to maintenance and repair durations. The study also shows that the factor analysis and The Kolmogorov-Smirnov test for two independent samples are very useful for examining maintenance and repair durations.
