APPLICATION OF CALCIUM HYDROCARBON-ALUMINATES FOR WASTE WATER TREATMENT IN HYDRO-METALLURGICAL PRODUCTION
Abstract
Using of HCAC as a clearing material of hydrometallurgical productionпїЅs effluent. Hydrocarbonoaluminate of calcium is synthesized in the system CaO-Al2O3-Na2O-CO2. Such system is characteristic for high silicon content aluminum raw on alumina processing plants by sintering method as desilication reagent. By this method aluminatesпїЅ solution decomposition conducts by carbonization receiving of aluminium hydrate and sodium liquor. HCAC has developed surface, neutral pH, which let us using it as clearing material for composite system. In our research we learnt heavy and non-ferrous metal extract from water liquors via HCAC. Productivity of HCAC as filtering material in relation to cations of cuprum, nickel, cobalt, chrome (VI) is illustrated in our research. Ion-exchanged mechanism of sorption is fixed on ions of calcium containing in HCAC. Coagulation function of HCAC letting effectively decant colloidal solutions, which have aspecial suspensions, is pointed. Lyotropic series for heavy and non-ferrous metal cations and capacitive characteristics of HCAC are fixed. Sorption properties of HCAC are comparable to famous sorbents using in industry for clearing of industrial effluent from heavy and non-ferrous metals.
