AQUIFER PROPERTIES DISTANT CONTROL
Abstract
This work is aimed at investigating the carbonate collector micro-jointing using the results of the precision underground water level monitoring at the Mikhnevo Geophysical Observatory (пїЅMikhnevoпїЅ GPO). For a long period of hydrogeological observations from August 2013 to December 2016 a database of local mini-cones recorded in the observation well was formed. The leading factors that influence the process of the level recovery of mini-cones based on the systematization and generalization of selected mini-cones are established. Special attention is devoted to the analysis of mini-cones with an incompletely level recovery during the observation day. Such an asymmetric form of mini-cones can be associated with micro-fractures. The presence of the similar disturbances in the collector structure was confirmed also by the observed peculiar пїЅbreakdownпїЅ or пїЅjumpпїЅ of the water level with amplitudes up to 10 mm and more in the case of a quasi-stationary filtration regime. Drainage of such micro-fractures leads to an unusual пїЅgerminationпїЅ or пїЅcollapseпїЅ and, accordingly, to a change in the ratio between open (active) and closed micro-fractures.
