Abstract

The application of the collection of tropical and subtropical plants of the Botanical garden of "Leningrad state University named after A. S. Pushkin" is considered in the process of training bachelors in different directions. The directions of using the collection of plants in the training courses of disciplines included in the plan of training bachelors on direction "Ecology and nature management" profile "Ecology"; "Pedagogical education" profile "Geography and biology"; "Landscape architecture" profile "Decorative crop"; "Tourism" profile "Technology and organization of tour operator and travel Agency services". The necessity of using in the educational process of electronic educational resource created using GIS and WEB GIS technologies, allowing working with databases, spatial analysis and visualization of objects.
