Abstract

The aim of the paper is to in form on the need to apply geological information in land use planning and other state administration spheres, such as building office services. The study was carried out with in the locality specified by a map sheet 15 44 07 in 1:10 000 scale, in the cadastral district of Petr vald, Orlova, Horni Such a in the north-east of the Czech Republic close to the Polish border. The subject of the study is an evaluation of geobarriers of rock workability, inundatio n area and radon index. A significantly high variability in the studied factors has been identified.
