ORIGIN OF SULFUR IN BALKAN COAL BASIN AND SOME RELATED ENVIRONMENTAL PROBLEMS

Abstract

The distribution of the different forms of sulfur in the coal has been worked out. The goal of the present investigation was to fine out some distribution pattern of sulfur in this basin and to define the areas with high sulfur content.
