Abstract

Geographic information systems (GIS) constitute a new powerful technology that can address many of the information needs of decision makers in state and local governments. Therefore this paper represents an attempt to use this technique to optimize Ghorabi iron ore grade for uses in blast furnace as the first step in steel industry in Egypt.
