ACTORS OF THE FINANCIAL MARKETS. SUSTAINABLE FINANCING
Abstract
In our scientific approach we have sought for showing who are the main actors of the financial markets, i.e., those persons who decide, directly or indirectly, on all the events which may occur on the said markets but, above all, on those who require a sustainable financing of long term impact on mankind. Such persons hold positions on various levels of the financial entities but all of them have a decisive role in the making of most of the decisions which have as a result various actions on those markets, either they are in the management of companies, banks, insurance companies, or they are brokers, investors or simple performers in the previously counted entities. Certain is the fact that, during the last years, decisions of a sustainable effect were also taken on those markets so that important steps were also taken for more financing which may lead to environment protection. A sustainable financing has as its aim, among others, a development of the investment which contribute to the achievement of the objectives related to sustainability. Thus, ecological financing is a component of the sustainable financing and refers to those investments in the environment which may contribute to a better fulfillment of the environmental policies related to sustainability. If we consider sustainable financing, it is not excluded that, in the future, a circular economy will be more and more present so that most of the items (clothing, food, footwear, etc.) can be reused, to enter a new circuit. which is the basis for the manufacture of other clothing, footwear, etc. And maybe because of these things in the future pollution will no longer have such a significant presence in our lives.
