STABILIZATION OF CLAY SILT RETENTION

Abstract

The paper deals with verification of the sl udge stabilization from retention tanks by using modified cellulose fibers. Verifica tion of the method was implemented through laboratory tests and field test. Laboratory te st take place in VUHU a.s. Most and field test was performed at the quarry Ji Е™Г­, Sokolov coal company, a.s. legal successor. Stabilization took place in order to allow extr action of sludge from retention reservoirs. These reservoirs are build for longer time period and must be cleaned due maintaining their functionality and capacity.
