Abstract

Nowadays, the prices of the plots or the building sites grow and on the most they are defined as price per cubic meter. Although the fact, that the prices are growing extremely, areas in cadastre of real estates are not obligatory. The paper aims with the differences, which are resulting from the legislation and are focused on growing measurement precision necessity. The differences in the way of the break points measurement and better precision at all are applied on different plots. The paper is interested in relation of the break point quality and the precision of area or areasпїЅ shape. The same focus is given to the shape of the plot/area. The final precision area depends not only on the number of breaking points but on itsпїЅ shape as well. In Slovakia, there are number of plots extended in one way, in one axis, that caused decreasing of the areas precision. In the future there can be change in the way of the new plotsпїЅ shapes creation. But the problematic of ownerships is the one of the most difficult problem to be solved.
