ECONOMIC INCENTIVES OF GREEN STANDARDS IN CIVIL AND MUNICIPAL ENGINEERING
Abstract
The construction industry is one of the most material and energy-intensive manufacturing industries in the world, with about 50% of energy consumption and 60% of material resources. Obviously, the rational resource consumption, and as a consequence, the environmental future of humanity, to a large extent depends on the current state of this issue in the construction industry, and mainly emerging prospects for its modernization. For the construction, as the production sphere of national and global economies, finding evidence of пїЅsustainable developmentпїЅ should be a permanent and irreversible. Improvement of the construction pricing system and revaluation of the key principles for determining the cost of constructing, which takes place in Russia nowadays, should also be aimed at improving the existing arrangements for assessment of energy costs and environmental damage in constructing, implementing them in legislation according to the perspective пїЅresource methodпїЅ of determining the estimated cost in constructing, creation of a transparent and effective mechanism for environmental audit in construction. Development of the construction industry market in aspect of environmental conservation is one of the urgent challenges that involve the improvement and analysis of methods of pricing in civil engineering, search for new eco-oriented solutions, which in turn implies a transition to a пїЅgreenпїЅ constructing.
