MAINTAINANCE AND DEVELOPMENT OF MINING TRADITIONS

Abstract

For centuries formation of coexistance of two cultures on interface of Western and Central Europe, Germanic and Slavonic, in olden times disturbing clashes of noble families, was in recent hist ory seriously scarred by First World War and subsequent solution of their reasons. Coexistance in the Euroregion Ore Mountains, how is this area called, is in recent years renovated of various exchange of cultural an d sports relations, partnership of towns. Example of this and the most considerable cooperation is in saving and restoration of technical monuments from period of mi ning and processing of complex ores, development of mining traditions. Namely at the level, which crea tes expectations for registry of the Euroregion Ore Mountains in world cultural heritage UNESCO. It is by one of aspects and examples of potential, beneficial cooperation in the unification of Europe.
