THE PRINCIPLES OF ECOTOURISM - INDICATOR FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF ECOTOURISM DESTINATIONS
Abstract
Experience shows that last year marked by economic sector tourism is the fastest growing because it provides more than 6% of global and 13% of consumer spending. The tourism industry relies on tourism's role in economic, psychological, social created. For many regions, countries, tourism is seen as a panacea for economic recovery and raising incomes of local communities, firms. In this context, an imbalance between profit / responsibility / environmental sensitivity, which can lead to an offensive of governments and environmentalists on the tourism industry. Answer these events is ecotourism as a form of sustainable tourism, ecological tourism variant which invest many hopes in all countries [6]. Ecotourism is not a trend but a necessity of the third millennium, which can bring long-term income both local communities and companies or segments involved in the sustainable exploitation of these natural resources. It allows the protection of vulnerable habitats and tourist exploitation classic introduce knowledge, education, relaxation tourist tourism products based on sensitive, fragile [3]. To ensure the aspirations pursued by ecotourism is imposed stringent observance of principles outlining viable long-term strategy. The dimensions and functions of ecotourism generates specific principles themselves. Thus, ecotourism as responsible tourism has three sizes: is based on nature, environmental education and ensure sustainable management. The main functions of these stem beginning at protection, education, income generation, tourism and act as local participation.
