Abstract

Based on scientific-technical progress in modern period the industry and transport is developed, new technologies are introduced and requests at natural resources are grown. All the above-stated cause worsening of biosphere indicators. Therefore, studying air pollution and radiation background growing tendencies has international, global importance. During last years, in most countries of the world including Georgia worsening of environmental conditions are noted, pollution of atmospheric air and growing radiation background which somehow makes negative impact at health conditions of population and accordingly great attention is paid to measures for decreasing harmful impacts of environment. 2 SO , 2 NO , CO and dust concentration in atmospheric air was determined experimentally (Autonomous Republic of Adjara, Georgia), their seasonal monitoring was carried. Determining the suspended particles mass of the dust was made by weight method; 2 NO determination method is based on catching 2 NO from 5 dm3 air with special membrane sorbent and afterwards determination of nitrite-ion photometrically using Gris Reactive; 2 SO was determined by oxidizing SO2 from air using 2 2 H O and further interrelation of it with 2 BaCl with which it creates 4 BaSO . The solidity of created sulfate-ions was determined photometrically; CO was determined via express method via universal gas-analyser пїЅPaladium-3MпїЅ. As a result of the research it was identified that average concentration of all four polluters in summer are maximal and in winter they are minimal, which is caused by high temperature and the lack of rainy days. The dust concentration is beyond MPC in summer, autumn and spring seasons. 2 NO concentration is beyond MPC in summer and autumn. 2 SO and CO concentrations are under norm at all four seasons. The percentage share CO of concentration is highest compared to other parameters and it equals to 63.03-71.83 %. In case of dust the deviations from MPC is fixed at all four seasons and it is maximal compared to other parameters (45-71%). It is identified that the basic polluters of Batumi air is dust and partly 2 NO . The air pollution is connected to growth of diseases of respiratory organs, blood stream, skin and under-skin tissues, quantity of which were increased in 2017 compared to 2016 in the patients of three categories: up to 15 years, from 15 to 18 years, 18 and more years old patients. The monitoring results reveals that chemical pollution of atmospheric air is directly connected to above-stated diseases.
