USE THE EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES OF THE BOTANICAL GARDEN OF LENINGRAD STATE UNIVERSITY. A. S. PUSHKIN IN THE TEACHING DISCIPLINES OF ECOLOGICAL AND GEOGRAPHICAL FOCUS
Abstract
Educational resources collections in the Botanical garden of the Autonomous educational institution of higher professional education "Leningrad state University named after A. S. Pushkin", with more than 400 species and varieties of tropical and subtropical plant have been reviewed. Plants related to different biomes, ecological groups, floristic kingdoms and regions and plants cultivated in agriculture have been specified. The directions of using a collection of plants in the course of training courses of the disciplines included in the plan of training of bachelors on direction "Ecology and nature management" profile "Ecology"; "Pedagogical education" profile "Geography and biology" have been found out. Examples of the exhibits of the collection in the courses of the disciplines of ecological-geographical focus: ecology, biology, botany, plant physiology, biogeography, physical geography of continents and oceans, academic practice on the geography of plants, theory and methods of teaching in nature, the methodology of excursion work, methods of creating a winter garden are shown. In each discipline the topics that are studied using plants educational Botanical garden are described.
