UNDERGROUND WAVEGUIDE AND THE ECOLOGY PROBLEMS OF VIBRATION FORECAST
Abstract
Direct and inverse problems of propagation of elastic waves in an inhomogeneous soil are considered. Based on the analysis of the vibrational field, the associated tasks of vibrational ecology are solved. These problems arise because of the impact of transport and construction equipment in the city. The propagation of elastic waves in the soil can lead to large levels of vibration on the surface of the earth and create unsatisfactory conditions away from sources. Transport, and especially the subway, have the strongest impact on the ecological situation in terms of excessive levels of vibration and noise. The structure and mechanical properties of the upper soil layers determine the basic parameters of the elastic wave field. In the article, several simple models of stratification are considered and calculation tools for estimating the wave field are presented. In particular, the waveguide propagation of elastic waves is considered, which can lead to a significant increase in the spatial scales of the propagation of vibration. In addition, the amplitude of the soil surface oscillations is significantly reduced, which makes impossible the experimental method of estimating the vibration near the proposed construction of the building. In addition to simplified methods for analyzing the wave equation, a method of spectral-analytical solution is given, as well as results of calculations based on the finite element method.
