Abstract

With clastic sedimentary rocks associated deposits of ore, oil-and-gas, coal and non-metallic minerals. They are located in a variety of different age strata structural-tectonic stages. Sedimentary rocks composing these fields are often framework rocks or minerals themselves are economic minerals. Depending on the age and affinity to specific structural and tectonic tier breeds are in various stages of the penecontemporaneous transformation. By the degree of transformation of organic matter in the clastic rocks can be formed brown compact coal, hard coal and anthracite. Studies of Carboniferous, Permian and Jurassic deposits and analyze data on other fields has shown that the durability, porosity and density, and other properties of the rock are determined by their degree of transformation. In terms of conversion are the following stages of lithogenesis: diagenesis, and early, middle and late catagenesis, and metagenesis. Each stage of rocks transformation is characterized by their quantitative parameters established by laboratory tests. These studies hishlighted the geological conditions of the degree of conversion of clastic rocks, which serve as the basis for predicting their physical and mechanical properties. Depending on the stage of the penecontemporaneous transformation of clastic rocks, which have almost the same material composition and structure, can be characterized by sharply differing physical and mechanical properties. Given the extent penecontemporaneous transformation and related physical and mechanical properties of rocks can predict their stability in mines, which is very important to evaluate the safety and environmental state in the open working space in underground and open-pit mining of mineral deposits.
