DETERMINATION OF HERBICIDE 2,4-D IN SOIL SAMPLES BY KINETIC-SPECTROPHOTOMETRIC METHOD
Abstract
A kinetic method for the determination of 2,4-D is proposed. The method is based on the inhibiting effect of 2,4-D on the Mn(II) catalysis of the oxidation of malachite green with potassium periodate. The method was applied for the determination of 2,4-D in soil samples.
