INTERACTION MATRIX APPLICATION AT ERMENEK (KARAMAN) LIGNITE MINE
Abstract
This study includes the application of interaction matrix system given by Hudson in 1992 to underground coal mining conditions. Implication of interaction matrix was realized here at private company owned underground coal mine. After clear description of the interaction matrix and its properties, selected mine workers and engineers worked at the studied underground mine were asked to evaluate predefined 21 evaluation parameters. During the evaluation of the matrix, the parameters were evaluated to obtain critical and dominant factors to rise the mine’s operation efficiency. The interaction matrix form obtained from each person in this work were analyzed accordingly and saved for further inspections. These matrixes demonstrated which parameter was important and which one was dominant according to the person who evaluated the matrix.
