DEVELOPMENT OF RECOMMENDATIONS ON THE APPLICATION OF CORROSION-RESISTANT NANO-CEC FOR HEC WATER PUMPS PROTECTION
Abstract
Modern electrochemical technologies for surface treatment of chromium based electrolytic coatings to create protective, antifriction materials are considered.The physicochemical fundamentals of the processes of electrolytic formation of conversion and composite electrolytic coatings are highlighted. The purpose of our researches is working out technology of nano-structured composite electrolytic coatings obtaining and revealing optimum mode for effective corrosion proof coatings electroplating. The coatings were developed for Heat Electro Central (---) equipment, in particular for water pumps details. Coatings were obtained from electrolytes with different concentrations of silicon dioxide at temperatures and current densities for corrosion resistance using the gravimetric and potentiodynamic method in a 3% NaCl solution. The results showed that the highest corrosion resistance have coatings, received at current density 4 -/dm2 and temperature 333 K with concentration 20-30 g/ dm3 SiO2.
