STANDARDIZATION OF LOGISTIC DOCUMENTS IN SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES BASED ON UBL 2.0

Abstract

The article deals with electronic documents based on Universal Business Language (UBL) 2.0 standard in the frame of business processes aimed at logistic. The article firstly describes information flow between small and medium enterprises in B2B environment. Secondly the article is describing identification of set of business documents that small and medium enterprises in Slovakia use for information exchange in business transactions and analyses why customization and localization of UBL 2.0 business documents is required. Last but not least article implies perspectives of UBL 2.0 based business documents within the framework of the project KASSETTS (Knowledge-enabled Access of Central Europe SMEs to Efficient Transnational Transport Solutions, INTERREG/ Priority 2). Outcomes of this contribution are customized electronic documents aimed at logistic based on UBL 2.0 standard designed for KASSETTS platform in B2B environment.
